Based in Queensland, Rod is a specialist in the economics of natural resources. He is known for taking care to understand clients’ needs, find the best solution, and make it happen with a minimum of fuss.
Often sought out as a sounding board, Rod takes a highly analytical but open-minded approach to problems. If there is a better way, he will find it.
Rod has considerable expertise in conducting cost-benefit and economic analyses for natural resources and transport projects. He also has experience with public policy, economic assessments, economic impact statements, business plans and strategic advice across a range of sectors.
Before joining Aither, Rod gained more than 2 years of consulting experience as part of an economics advisory group at multinational engineering firm GHD. Prior to that, Rod held senior economic advisory roles for the Queensland and Australian Governments in the natural resources sector.
A self-confessed country boy, Rod gets on with it and gets it done. No problem.
