Lawson Cole

Consultant at Aither

Melbourne, Australia

About Me

Lawson, an environmental policy and science graduate, has a keen understanding of the complex interactions between social and environmental systems.

Lawson joined Aither in 2015 as a graduate from the Australian National University (ANU). While at the ANU, Lawson undertook research projects ranging from reviewing the sustainability principles within the Australian Foreign Direct Investment Policy to on-ground analysis of Fijian tuna fisheries governance. His work in Fiji allowed him to develop a working knowledge of how a systems thinking approach can be used to logically navigate contested resource management issues.

Since joining Aither, Lawson has applied his skills to a review of regional development advisory and governance arrangements for the NSW Government, a review of bulk water entitlement obligations and requirements for the Victorian Government and an expenditure pricing review for WaterNSW.

Lawson brings knowledge of environmental and social research, environmental policy analysis, and Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) to the Aither team.
