Chris Olszak

Director at Aither

Melbourne, Australia

About Me

Chris Olszak is a rare breed of economist. While he has a formidable grasp of economic principles, he balances this with incisive analytical skills and real-world nous to deliver practical advice that hits the mark – every time.

With an ability to lead complex projects and prepare reports of the highest quality, Chris’s consulting experience is both deep and diverse. He has worked extensively in the areas of water, natural resources, infrastructure and the environment.

Chris has recently led engagements to examine port pricing arrangements, model the economics of water markets and urban water investments, and advise governments on cost recovery in fisheries and forestry.

Before co-founding Aither, Chris spent 5 years at Frontier Economics. His earlier career included economist and consultant roles at the URS Economics and Policy Group and Arthur Andersen.

Whenever the situation calls for a consummate professional who can move swiftly from blank page to best outcome, Chris is there to answer the call.
